Overview

The Ethernet Access Business Unit (EABU) 1112 is a colorless termination unit that resides at the business location and can accommodate various types of services through the Ethernet (100Base-TX) port. The EABU 1112 aggregates and propagates one to four business' port traffic to and from the outside plant Wavelength Passive Filter (WPF). The colourless nature of the EABU 1112 provides a simple "Plug & Play" solution that simplifies planning, engineering and deployment strategies. It also elimates the inventory issues currently limiting broad deployments.
