The Nortel Subscriber Manager is a software application that enables network administrators to manage subscriber services through provisioning integration with Nortel Communications Server 1000 accounts (clients/phones). It lets users create, edit or delete services easily from a central interface, using pre-defined service templates. In addition, it can take the administrator to a particular element manager for more detailed management of the related service parameters.

The Subscriber Manager has the ability to work in a "Flow-Through Provisioning" mode where it automatically takes actions based on information in an enterprise’s LDAP directory, and without the need to access the user interface.

The Subscriber Manager is a critical component of the Nortel  Unified Communications Management solution. It is designed to promote the re-use of subscriber data and key provisioning information enabling the management of cross-product provisioning workflows from a common web interface.
